A Starry Night

Swirling blues and greens,

Light and dark meet in a confusion

That somehow soothes.

Haloed stars,

Cascading mountains,

(Protective, yet foreboding)

Perch above a 

Serene and tranquil hamlet.

The eternal cypress 

In the foreground

Beautiful and sad.
